Babes in Arms: Women in the Comics During the Second World War, edited by Trina Robbins, is collection of Golden Age comics featuring World War II-related action heroines by four female artists: Barbara Hall, Jill Elgin, Lily Renée, and Fran Hopper. The book also features short biographies of each artist, along with photos and examples of their other art.
